Recommendations regarding the spacing and installation possibilities on adjustable pedestals should be provided in the manufacturer's tiles installation instructions. Non-compliant installation may result in the loss of warranty.
In practice, there are no specific limitations regarding the size of tiles,, but installation and transportation limitations should be taken into account. It is important to know the required support density for the specific material and the anticipated load. In most cases, setting the pedestals on a grid with a distance of approximately 60 cm is sufficient. However, even for 60 x 60 cm pavers, it may be necessary to support not only the corners but also the center of the tile.
For larger tiles, such as 120 x 120 cm, the pedestals are placed at 60 cm intervals, i.e., at each corner, in the middle of all side edges, and beneath the paver. By increasing the density of the pedestal grid, the load-bearing capacity of the system is increased.
