What is the load capacity of the terrace pedestals?

Each series of pedestals has a different load capacity. The values provided below refer to the maximum force at which the load-bearing properties of the pedestals are reduced. It is necessary to take into account the safety factor, which typically has a value of FS:2 (Factor Safety 2) for most design purposes. This means that the maximum load capacity of the pedestal should be divided by 2. More details and the currently declared parameters regarding the load capacity of terrace pedestals can be found in the laboratory research reports from ITB (Building Research Institute) and the National Technical Assessment (the load capacities of the pedestals are also indicated in the conformity declaration). If you have any doubts about the loads on the constructed terrace, we recommend consulting with a structural engineer.

Below are approximate load capacities for terrace pedestals:

  • For the SUPPORT PAD series, the load capacity is up to 2500 kg (each pad has a different load capacity).
  • For pedestals from the SPIRAL series, the load capacity is up to 2400 kg.
  • For pedestals from the STANDARD series, the load capacity is up to 1100 kg.
  • For pedestals from the MAX series, the load capacity is up to 1700 kg.
  • For pedestals from the ALU series, the load capacity is up to 2000 kg.
  • For pedestals from the RAPTOR series, the load capacity is up to 1000 kg.

We have attached an informational video, please remember the applicable load capacities are specified in the technical research reports.
