Terrace pedestals are not covered by European standards and therefore cannot be marked with the CE mark. You can read more information about the requirements for CE marking here. The EOTA organization is currently developing guidelines for testing methods of terrace pedestals for manufacturers, called the EAD document - harmonized technical specification. Once this document is adopted by the European Commission, all manufacturers will be required to present the parameters and declaration of conformity of their products in a consistent manner, supported by obtaining the European Technical Assessment (ETA). Until the EAD document is adopted, each manufacturer independently determines the parameters and testing methods for their products. As a responsible manufacturer, we have numerous laboratory tests, test reports, and detailed studies regarding our products. All tests are conducted by the independent Institute of Building Technology (ITB). Unlike some manufacturers who present incomplete and incorrect test reports, we thoroughly test and analyze the strength of our products and have numerous independent studies confirming this. We are also aware of cases where dishonest manufacturers present strength test reports with results that differ from the actual ones.
