The self-leveling head is a separate component that can be used as an accessory to the pedestals from the Spiral, Standard, and Max series. It is employed when we want the pavers on our elevated terrace to be level, even when the substrate beneath the pedestals has slopes. It helps correct the slope of the substrate from 0 to 8% (depending on the series of pedestals). Our experience indicates that in the case of a slope on the substrate beneath the terrace below 2%, using the self-leveling head is not necessary. To compensate for such a slight inclination, usually the SH shim is sufficient. Therefore, we recommend using the self-leveling head when the surface slope exceeds 2%. As it is a separate component, customers can freely decide whether such an addition is necessary or not, without incurring unnecessary costs.
